General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for Culinary Atelier

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) define the relationship between participants of cooking classes or private event customers, and Culinary Atelier.

1.1 Performance

Culinary Atelier commits to providing educational services for the customer’s event with the utmost care and professionalism, always prioritizing the interests of its customers.

1.2 Liability

Participants engage in courses and events at their own risk. Culinary Atelier is not liable for any material or personal damages incurred during an event, including any adverse reactions to food and beverages due to allergies or other health conditions.

1.3 Order Confirmation

An event is officially confirmed once the offer is accepted in writing and the full payment has been made.

1.4 Registration

Participants may register via phone, email, or Instagram.

1.5 Cooking Course Costs

Details regarding the costs of various cooking courses and workshops are available in the respective course offers. These fees cover the cooking course, meals, and recipes provided.

1.6 Payment Terms

Payments must be made in full and in advance as per the invoice, adhering to the specified payment deadline.

1.7 Course Content

Culinary Atelier reserves the right to adjust the course menu within the stated course objectives, such as substituting specific menu items.

1.8 Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the issuance date unless stated otherwise. Certificates not redeemed within this timeframe may be extended via written or telephone request before the expiry date. Gift certificates must be paid within 7 days from the invoice date, and their value is non-refundable. Any remaining balance after a certificate’s redemption is non-refundable but may be applied to future courses.

1.9 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following conditions:

•Cancellations up to 21 days before the course date are eligible for a refund, minus a CHF 10.00 processing fee.
•Cancellations up to 14 days before the course date will receive a 50% refund.
•Cancellations within 7 days of the course start or failure to attend will not be refunded.

Customers may reschedule for another course, subject to availability. Registrations may be transferred to another participant with prior notice and agreement.

2.0 Event Cancellation by Culinary Atelier

Should Culinary Atelier cancel an event due to illness, organizational reasons, or insufficient enrollment, participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of the course costs upon request.
